Pinellas Student Art Takes Center Stage
Alongside the Iconic Collection
at The James Museum
The 5th annual Dynamic Dimensions exhibition explores Un/Natural Worlds, blurring the lines between reality and imagination through K–12 sculpture, film and photography.
March 27, 2026 – St. Petersburg, FL – The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art is proud to partner with Pinellas County Schools for the fifth consecutive year in hosting Dynamic Dimensions: Sculpture, Short Films, & Photography, a Pinellas County Schools K-12 Art Exhibition. Student art will be exhibited alongside The James Museum’s iconic permanent collection from March 28 to April 14, 2026, showcasing hundreds of creative works from students across Pinellas County.
This year’s theme, Un/Natural Worlds, invites young artists to explore the use of colors, lines, and forms to represent the natural world or fantastical worlds built in their imagination. The juried exhibition will celebrate the talent and creativity of Pinellas County’s student artists, providing them with a professional platform to share their work with the community.
“Welcoming Dynamic Dimensions into our galleries reminds us that art is a living, breathing conversation,” said Emily Kapes, Chief Curator. “These young artists bring such a sense of wonder to themes like Un/Natural Worlds, and being a judge for the show is a fun challenge as well as an honor.”
The museum’s galleries will be transformed by the imaginative perspectives of emerging artists, reinforcing the importance of arts education in shaping future generations. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience this exhibition for two weeks.
“Our team is thrilled to bring Dynamic Dimensions back to The James Museum for its fifth year,” said Stacy Stockdale, Wendy J. Seldon Director of Education & Public Programs. “By placing Dynamic Dimensions within our galleries, we are telling these students that their voices and their visions truly matter. It is a powerful moment of connection for young artists, and we are honored to share that inspiration with the Pinellas community.”
This exhibition is made possible by Suncoast Credit Union, Presenting Sponsor of Dynamic Dimensions. The museum received $8,500 from Suncoast to support the exhibit.
“Suncoast Credit Union takes great pride in supporting the communities we serve, and we’re delighted to help fund this creative and awe-inspiring exhibition,” said Jeff Kunberger, Executive Director of Foundations at Suncoast Credit Union. “We know it’ll help create endless opportunities for young artists and show the importance of the arts in schools.”
Dynamic Dimensions is free with museum admission and open to the public. For more information about the exhibition and related programming, visit https://thejamesmuseum.org/pcs-exhibition/ and follow the museum on Instagram and Facebook.
