The James Museum is committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, political affiliation, sex, age, or disability.
The museum is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Wheelchairs are also available upon request at the front desk for use in the museum.
Service animals are welcome in the museum.
Once a quarter we are proud to offer SENSORY-FRIENDLY MORNINGS, a program designed for children and adults with neurodiversity and sensory processing differences. Check our calendar to register for the next one! Visiting on another day? Our friends at the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at The University of South Florida (CARD) created a visual guide to help visitors with ASD.
Art in Mind at The James Museum is an innovative, inclusive in-gallery experience for adults living with Alzheimer’s. Developed in collaboration with USF and led by trained museum docents, our judgment-free tours offer a space for connection, expression and enjoyment through the transformative power of art. This unique exploration opportunity provides accessible arts encounters for those with dementia. Watch this video to learn more about the program.
