School Group Tours
We are currently accepting requests for school tours. We can accommodate groups on a limited basis, with adaptations in place to create a safer experience for all.
Bring your students to the James Museum, where they will experience the stories of the American West through art. See works from Native American and non-native artists who honor the beauty of the landscape and bring to life the gritty history and exciting tales found west of the Mississippi.
Education programs and school tours are generously sponsored by Robb & Susan Hough.
Private Group Tours
Bring your group to experience art that explores the rich history, cultures, and wildlife of the American West. Private tours are available for groups of any size and special rates are available for groups of 10 or more. Group capacity is limited to allow for social distancing. Let us help customize a memorable outing for your family and friends or corporate, nonprofit, youth, college or social group.
ART IN MIND
Discover Art in Mind at The James Museum — an innovative in-gallery experience for adults with dementia. Developed with USF & led by trained docents, our tours offer a space for connection through art. Join us for a unique, accessible arts encounter.
Art in Mind is generously sponsored by the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation.
MOBILE AUDIO TOUR
Our mobile audio tour highlights a variety of subjects from Native Americans, to cowboys, to wildlife from around the world. You will hear a range of perspectives, giving historical, artistic, and biographical insights and commentary. The tour can be accessed online or in-person at the museum.
