The James Museum places a high value on the work you do as teachers, and we want to support your educational endeavors. We offer these perks in hopes that you will visit us often and collaborate with us as we work to educate people about the American West.

Free Admission for Teachers in July

Teachers with valid ID* are invited to visit The James Museum free of charge during the whole month of July. Wander the galleries, soak in the stunning landscapes and explore the stories told by the art. Ask for the teacher handout about school field trips and preview possibilities for your students. Check The James Museum website calendar for other activities during the month of July. 

*Must present one of the following: a valid school/institution ID, verification of employment on school letterhead, school business card, or approval from The James Museum Education Department.

Reduced Admission & Memberships

Teachers can save every day of the year with discounted admission and membership rates.

Reduced Daily Admission: $15 for teachers*

Discounted Membership Rates: 15% off any membership level*
Membership must be purchased in-person at the General Admissions Desk.

*Must present one of the following: a valid school/institution ID, verification of employment on school letterhead, school business card, or approval from The James Museum Education Department.

Teacher’s Night Out

Come to The James Museum for an evening of perks just for teachers. Enjoy free admission, light refreshments, a cash bar, a free art poster, and live music by Rebekah Pulley. Meet James Museum educators and explore our school tour options.
