Survival of the Fittest exhibits 45 masterworks by European painters—German-American Carl Rungius, Germans Richard Friese and Wilhelm Kuhnert, and Swedish Bruno Liljefors. Known as the Big Four, they revolutionized Western perceptions of wildlife.
