Homeschool Day at The James | Westward Bound!

Explore the museum’s permanent collection highlighting art of the American West and the special exhibition Perseverance: A Woman’s Journey West. This open-house format allows parent-educators and their students to curate their own adventure through a variety of tours, art activities and in-gallery experiences led by docents and museum educators.

The museum’s collection and activities align with the Florida Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T. Standards) for Visual Arts, Social Studies, and English Language Arts. Suitable for students in grades K–12.
