It’s Girl Scout Day at The James! Junior and Senior Girl Scouts will receive a certificate of completion, their finished artwork and their badge. Fee includes materials and all-day museum admission. Choose from one of the workshops below:

JUNIOR ART & DESIGN WORKSHOP
October 20, 1–4 p.m.
Get inspired by the museum’s contemporary Native American jewelry collection and learn about metals as an art medium. Explore the tools and techniques shown in metal work and use art elements and design principles to create your own foil embossed masterpiece.

SENIOR COLLAGE ARTIST WORKSHOP NEW
October 20, 1–4 p.m.
Learn about mixed media artists in The James Museum collection and how they use layers to tell a story. Girl Scouts will explore concepts of color theory and composition to create their own recycled beaded collage.

Please note, these workshops take place at the museum. Adult chaperones are required.  Visit gswcf.org to register.
