Tampa Bay Watch Pop-Up Program | Ocean in Focus: Microscopic Life & Microplastics

Visit our friends from the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center at the museum! We invite you to discover the wonders of our local ecosystem and the challenges it faces through the work of this nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the Tampa Bay estuary. Peer through a microscope to observe live plankton, the tiny creatures that form the foundation of ocean ecosystems, and compare them to microplastics like glitter, microbeads, and polyester fibers that threaten our food chains.
