This novel takes us on a quest for revenge set in Texas during the Civil War. Young Samantha is determined to kill the panther who left her face horribly scarred and killed her mother. She recruits a crew of helpers in the form of a preacher, a Mexican horse thief, and an old dog once noted for panther tracking. Author Elizabeth Crook will appear via Zoom.
