Things To Know - Docent Q&A
SCHEDULE
Q&A sessions may be scheduled Monday-Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
We recommend one Q&A session per class to encourage a lively discussion between your students and one of our docents. We can accommodate in-person, virtual, and hybrid classes.
Q&A SESSION LENGTH
Each Q&A session is 20 minutes. Each docent will be in the gallery featuring the artwork you selected.

Videoconferencing platform (Microsoft Teams Preferred)
Web camera
Microphone
Note : If you do not have an external microphone, our docents may ask you to relay students’ questions if they are unable to hear.
Payment
No payment is required. We hope you will pay what you can to help support our school programs. Our suggested fee is $60 per class, and Pinellas County Schools may use referendum funds to pay for this virtual museum experience. Our docents look forward to speaking with your students.
Confirmation
Your Q&A session is confirmed when you receive an email confirmation and a Microsoft Teams Meeting request from The James Museum Education Department.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so via email at least 3 business days prior to your Q&A session.
