Group Tours

Private, docent-led tours are a wonderful way for groups of 10 or more to enjoy the museum and share a fun learning experience. Let us help create a memorable visit tailored to your group’s needs and interests. Group visits must be scheduled at least four weeks in advance. Contact us today to get started!

Group Admission

Adults: $15
Seniors (65+): $10
College Students w/ ID: $10

Minimum/Maximum Capacity

Private, docent-led tours are available to groups of 10 or more. We can accommodate up to 50 people at a time.

Tour Length

Our docents will lead a 45-minute highlights tour, providing a broad overview of the museum with a focus on key works of art. There is much more to see, so you may want to plan for additional time to explore on your own after the tour.

Schedule a Tour

Use the  “Request a Tour”  button to access the online reservation request form. Tours must be scheduled at least four weeks in advance. We will contact you by email to confirm your tour date and time. If we are unable to accommodate your group on the date(s) you requested, we will work with you to schedule your visit for an alternate date.


A $50 deposit is required to secure a tour date, and must be paid within two days after you receive confirmation that your date has been scheduled. Call 727-892-4200 ext. 1021 to pay by Visa or Mastercard.

Final Payment

The balance of your admission is due two business days prior to your visit. Be sure to have an accurate headcount when you make your final payment, as tickets are nonrefundable. Call 727-892-4200 ext. 1021 to pay by credit card. If you are paying by check, please ensure that it arrives at least two days prior to your visit.


Located inside the museum,  The Canyon Cafe welcomes groups for lunch, dinner and drinks. Reservations are required for groups, as seating is limited. To make a reservation, please contact the Cafe’s General Manager at or 727-892-4200 ext. 1202.


Individual vehicles (height limit of 6’10”) may park in the city garage located above the museum for an hourly rate of $2. The garage entrance is on the back of our building, on 1st Ave South. Metered street parking is also available in the vicinity.

Buses and large vans may pull up to the museum’s front entrance at 150 Central Ave. to allow passengers to disembark. We will provide directions to an offsite parking lot upon arrival.


If you need to cancel your tour reservation, please do so in writing. Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel no less than 30 days prior to your tour date. Or you may reschedule your visit based on museum availability.
