Book Club | “American Zion: Cliven Bundy, God & Public Lands in the West” by Betsy Gaines Quammen
American Zion traces the Mormon history and beliefs underpinning the attitudes of people who became willing to die to claim the right to use federal land as they see fit. These are not mainstream Mormon attitudes, but the threat of violence now influences public land management in the West. The author will appear via Zoom to answer questions while book club meets in person. Join us for coffee and a great discussion led by docent Helen Huntley.
