The James Museum offers a variety of fun and engaging activities for adults. Whether you join us for a moment of quiet contemplation in our galleries or an activity-filled day, there is plenty to learn and explore on your own or with a group.

James After 5

Round up your friends for some Tuesday night fun at The James! The museum is open from 5 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday, featuring $5 admission. While you are here, take in a Western movie or a gallery talk, try your hand at sketching in the galleries, or enjoy live music and happy hour specials in the Canyon Cafe. Saturday Drop-in Tours

Mosey along with a James docent on a highlights tour of the museum. Drop-in tours are offered every Saturday at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. and provide a 45-minute overview of the galleries with a focus on key works of art. Tours are free with admission; space is limited. To reserve a space, pick up a free tour ticket at the admissions desk or museum store on the day of your visit.

Group Tours

Bring your group to experience St. Petersburg’s newest art destination. Take in the stunning vistas and fascinating stories of the American West through the James Museum’s collection of paintings, sculptures and one-of-a-kind jewelry. Whether you only have an hour to explore the galleries on your own, or would like to enjoy a guided tour and leisurely lunch in our Canyon Cafe, we can help create a memorable visit for your group.
